Liberty Insurance in Ireland was bought in January 2024 by Generali, one of the world’s largest insurance groups., operating in more than 50 countries and attending over 70 M customers.
Because of this, our legal name changed to Generali Seguros y Reaseguros S.A.U., Ireland Branch. But in Ireland, we’ll be known by our new brand name, RedClick.
Even though our name has changed, we’re still regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland for Conduct of Business Rules.

Yes, your insurance policy remains unchanged and is valid until the end date noted in your policy documents. When the time comes to renew, your Broker will be in touch with you, well in advance to give you details of your renewal offer.
The same great team you have been dealing with for your existing claim is not changing. We will continue to process your claim as quickly as possible.
No. There is no need to change your vehicle disc. Your existing disc continues to be valid and there is no need to contact us for a new one. When you renew your policy, your Broker will issue your new documents with our new name and logo.

Our phone numbers are not changing. We continue to be available on 01 553 4040 for claims queries or you can contact your Broker. If you have an emergency at home or on the road, or need a windscreen repair, you can contact us on the numbers below.

The data controller of your personal data remains the same but is now named Generali Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.U. (acting through its Irish Branch). We will share your data with our group of undertakings (the Generali Group), which includes the Spanish insurance company Generali España, S.A. de Seguros y Reaseguros, for internal administrative purposes, compliance with supervisory obligations and structural modification of companies. The remaining data protection information, including the information regarding the possibility of exercising the data protection rights foreseen in the data protection regulations, continues to be available on the insurers’ websites. The privacy information may change from time to time, so we advise you to periodically check the Privacy Notices.

Your current instalment amount and dates are not changing, until your policy renews or If you amend your policy. Our name will soon change on your bank statement and mobile phone app. Over the next few weeks, we will display as RedClick.
No. Our payment methods are staying the same and you do not need to contact your Broker to provide your details. If we already have details of your debit/credit card or bank account used for your policy payments we will continue to apply any charges notified to you, to that account/card.
No, our BIC/IBAN are not changing.
No, our Originator ID is not changing.
We are not planning any immediate new products.
Your policy will not change. You will still have the same policy cover and benefits, and it will remain active until your renewal date. Your Broker will be in touch with you, when it is time for you to renew.

For regulatory reasons we cannot comment on future pricing. However, we always try to offer the most competitive prices for our products and services using data driven insights and drawing on our claims experience. We will continue to try and improve our pricing for our customers.
